Job Description

The Safety and Security Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing our security team, ensuring adherence to security protocols, and skillfully handling conflict resolution. This pivotal position involves leading a team of security officers, orchestrating emergency responses, and safeguarding the safety and security of our facilities.

• Lead and supervise security officers, providing guidance and support.
• Demonstrate exceptional conflict resolution skills to manage internal team conflicts and guest interactions with professionalism and care.
• Conduct training to empower team members with the knowledge of security protocols and procedures, equipping them for success.
• Coordinate emergency responses and ensure readiness for various scenarios.
• Oversee daily security operations and ensure compliance with policies and uphold our unwavering commitment to security excellence.

• At least 1-2 years of experience in a safety and security role, preferably within a hotel or similar setting.
• Experience in supervising or leading a team is preferred.
• Knowledge of local laws and ordinances.
• Certificate of Completion in Safety and Security Training and/or State Security License, to include applicable background checks, per State requirements.
• CPR, First Aid and AED Certification from American Heart Association, Red Cross or HSI.
• AHLA Certified Lodging Security Supervisor certification completed within 60 days of hire.
