The Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort & Lookout Mountain Golf Club is located in North Phoenix, near Paradise Valley and Scottsdale. Nestled on 230 acres against the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, the resort offers a scenic, mountainside setting with a full range of high-end amenities. In addition to its 585 spacious all-suite accommodations, the property features extensive dining options, including the award-winning hilltop restaurant, Different Pointe of View, perched 1,800 feet above the Valley of the Sun.

Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort is seeking a hospitality-driven and experienced Safety & Security Manager to oversee all security and safety operations at our North Phoenix resort. This leadership role ensures a secure environment for guests and employees—while upholding the highest standards of guest service and professionalism.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily safety and security operations across the property
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise security staff
  • Conduct investigations (accidents, thefts, violations) and generate reports
  • Enforce OSHA compliance and lead the hotel’s Safety Committee
  • Maintain and test emergency preparedness procedures
  • Oversee key control, lost & found, fire preparedness, and VIP protection
  • Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and local officials
  • Serve as Manager on Duty during special events and crisis situations
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of safety/security management experience (hotel industry preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of emergency protocols, local laws, and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills
  • Tech-savvy:
    Proficient in Windows OS and basic business software
  • Valid driver's license
  • CPR, First Aid, or Safety Certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • A genuine hospitality mindset —security with a guest-first approach
