Our Client, Ring Plan is seeking a high-impact Account Executive (hunter) to lead growth within their SLED (State & Local Government, Higher Education, and K–12) segment in the Western US market. This strategic field-based role is responsible for driving new revenue, navigating public-sector procurement, building relationships with decision-makers, and managing complex multi-stakeholder deals.

KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Own and execute the go-to-market strategy across the Western US SLED territory and beyond.
- Target State & Local Government agencies, Higher Education institutions, and K–12 districts (50+ employees).
- Drive net-new logo acquisition through proactive prospecting and strategic account planning.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from discovery through close.
- Develop and manage a healthy pipeline, accurate forecasting, and funnel performance.
- Partner with regional VARs and channel partners to identify, engage, and close opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and business development to support solution design and deal execution.
- Introduce and sell Ring Plan’s platform through a consultative, value-based selling methodology.
- 7+ years of enterprise technology sales experience (SaaS, Unified Communications, Cloud Applications, VoIP, Telephony).
- Proven experience selling into SLED and/or K-12 school districts.
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex procurement processes and negotiate win‑win agreements.
- Experience prospecting and closing net-new accounts.
- Strong presentation skills, including executive-level meetings and virtual demonstrations.
- Experience adhering to a structured sales process and CRM discipline.
- Willingness to travel 25%.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with successful track record.
- Strong business acumen and ability to align solutions to organizational outcomes.
- High energy, driven, and accountable.
- Highly skilled in Telcom, UCaaS, MSP or network solution sales.
- A hunter who enjoys building relationships and closing business.
- Base Salary $80,000-$85,000 OTE $140,000 with uncapped earnings.
