Client Relationship Manager, Business Development
Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 base salary + commission
About the RoleWe are looking for a driven and experienced Account Manager to join our staffing team in the Greater Phoenix area. In this remote role, you will own client relationships, drive business growth, and serve as a strategic partner to both clients and our internal recruitment team. Previous staffing industry sales experience is required.
Job DutiesClient Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts by developing strong relationships with key decision-makers. Understand client needs and provide staffing solutions that align with their business objectives.
Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospective clients. Develop and implement strategies to expand our client base and market presence.
Recruitment Coordination Work closely with the recruitment team to clearly communicate client requirements. Oversee the candidate selection process and ensure client needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Account Growth Analyze client accounts to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Develop tailored proposals and presentations to secure additional and future business.
Market Analysis Stay informed about industry trends, market challenges, and competitive activity to provide strategic insights and adapt approaches accordingly.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or a client-facing role — staffing industry experience required
- Demonstrated success in staffing sales with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of staffing solutions and the ability to match client needs with the right talent
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, strategic thinker with a growth mindset
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Experience with Target Recruit (Salesforce) is a plus
