Job Description
Scott Solar Solutions is seeking motivated and self-driven Solar Field Marketing Representatives to generate qualified residential solar appointments through face-to-face outreach in targeted neighborhoods.
This is a door-to-door field role focused on appointment setting. You are not responsible for closing sales. Your primary objective is to introduce homeowners to solar energy solutions and schedule qualified consultations with our solar consultants.
This position is ideal for individuals who are competitive, resilient, and motivated by performance-based income.
What You'll Do- Canvass assigned residential neighborhoods
- Introduce homeowners to solar savings opportunities
- Set qualified in-home or virtual consultations
- Track daily activity and appointments
- Work independently and manage your schedule
- Represent the company professionally
Minimum requirement: 25 hours per week.
CompensationPerformance-based compensation includes:
- $300 weekly performance base (earned with 25 hours worked and at least 1 completed presentation)
- $100 per completed presentation
- $100 per kilowatt (kW) installed from your appointments
Top performers earn $60,000–$150,000+ annually.
Income is directly tied to effort and results.
QualificationsRequired:
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable with face-to-face outreach

- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
- Comfortable working outdoors
Preferred:
- Sales or customer service experience
- Door-to-door experience
- Lead generation experience
