Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting SW PCG IW Distribution Brands (M.L.Campbell; Sayerlack) sales, profit and marketing efforts in Arizona, Southern California, and Nevada. The role involves sales through a distribution network consisting of Wholesale Plywood Distributors, Building Material Distributors, and Industrial Coatings Distributors, who sell and service cabinet shops, furniture manufacturers, architectural millwork, and other wood furnishing manufacturers. Strong communication skills with both the distributor network and end‑user customers are vital to long‑term success.
The Account Manager will plan, develop, and implement business plans to expand new opportunities and will utilize CRM for sales planning. Sales, time‑management, training, technical knowledge, administrative duties, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills are required.
- Manage the SW PCG IW Distribution Brands sales, profit, and marketing efforts and surpass sales goals by implementing key divisional and brand strategies.
- Maintain and build relationships with distributors, working closely to ensure continued growth.
- Develop and implement training programs, including product application, troubleshooting, equipment setup, and application techniques.
- Develop, implement, and work within a business plan, including P&L responsibility.
- Handle confidential and proprietary information with appropriate supervision.
- Formal Education – High school diploma or equivalent (three years of work experience for each year of college education if no degree).
- Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree in Business; 5–8 years of relevant experience; bi‑lingual Spanish and English; paint or wood finish experience with spray application; experience interacting with senior management or business owners.
- Knowledge & Experience – 3–5 years of sales and management experience (5–8 years preferred).
- Technical/Skill Requirements – Ability to use Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word; public speaking to groups of 10–200; work all scheduled hours; valid driver’s license; legal authorization to work in the country; valid passport and ability to travel primarily to Canada.
- Travel Requirements – Approximately 50% travel.
