Plumbing Supply Sales Associate

Sonoran Plumbing Supply Company, LLC, located in Phoenix, AZ, is looking for a dynamic full-time Plumbing Supply Sales Associate to join our team!

The pay for this position is: $20-$24 per hour.

Our full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with opportunities for overtime.

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Previous sales experience
• A positive attitude
• Cross-functional agility, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
• Initiative to actively seek opportunities to broaden knowledge and improve skills
• Computer skills: typing, messaging platforms, web browsers, file folders, etc.
• Ability to maintain emotions in fast-paced and stressful situations
• Ability to communicate complex situations clearly and simply by listening actively and conveying difficult messages in a positive manner
• Ability to facilitate collaboration
• Ability to perform work independently and under direct supervision
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, customers, and vendors
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to lift or move up to 75 lbs. without assistance, and 75+ lbs. with assistance and/or lifting equipment

• Bilingual language abilities:
  English and Spanish
• 1-3+ years of plumbing/wholesale experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience
• College degree or 2+ years' experience in the industry
• Previous experience using an inventory management system (Quick Books, Eclipse, Savance, etc.)
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Experience with material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, hand dolly, etc.)
• Possess the drive to assist team members with other tasks

As our Plumbing Supply Sales Associate, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their experience is positive and efficient from the moment they walk through our doors. Your day is focused on providing excellent service through a combination of product knowledge and streamlined order processing. You will be responsible for greeting every person who enters the facility, assessing their needs, and guiding them to the right resources.

From picking and staging orders to handling returns and maintaining counter inventory, you are the key to a smooth and successful operation.
