Senior Oncology Account Manager - Phoenix​/Albuquerque

Overview

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is a global biopharma company dedicated to developing life‑changing medicines for patients with serious diseases. The Senior Oncology Account Manager (OAM) promotes Jazz’s oncology products, builds relationships with therapeutic specialists, and implements marketing strategies to achieve sales goals. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.

• Strategic Account Management:
  Understand customer needs, analyze prescribing decisions, and leverage resources (dashboards, speaker programs, conferences) to support account growth.
• Strategic Planning:
  Define measurable objectives, develop tailored account plans, adjust plans based on feedback, and collaborate cross‑functionally (marketing, medical affairs, market access).

  Engage cross‑functional partners, lead account interface, and share insights to meet customer and patient needs.
• Selling Effectiveness:
  Promote Jazz oncology products in community and academic centers, stay current on industry trends, and build strong relationships with key physicians and organizations.
• Product & Scientific Knowledge:
  Communicate product indications, respond to questions about approved therapies, and challenge prescribers with product expertise.
• Execution:
  Deliver commercial sales results, manage customer interactions in CRM, attend conferences and training, comply with legal and regulatory guidelines, and perform activities within budget.

• Four‑year college/university degree.
• Minimum 5 years of oncology sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with effective presentation style.
• Ability to meet territorial travel requirements and work schedule flexibility.

• Post‑graduate business school study or training.
• Strong clinical, technical and scientific knowledge of oncology products and disease states.
• Strategic thinker with a proven account business plan.
• Key account management experience in complex academic and community accounts.
• Strong business acumen, problem‑solving, prioritization and data analytics skills.
• Experience with brain tumor, diffuse midline glioma and neuro‑oncology highly preferred.

• Frequent travel between meeting sites.
• Frequent use of computer, printer, telephone and other office equipment.
• Frequent public contact with appropriate business apparel.
• Work schedule may include outside of normal hours to meet business demands.

Base pay range: $150,400 – $225,600. Eligible for discretionary annual cash bonus, incentive compensation, and equity grants.
