Inbound Sales Consultant - Base Pay + Uncapped Incentive (Hybrid - Phoenix)

Join our February 2026 class of Inbound Sales Consultants and help customers protect what matters most. At Farmers, your ambition fuels your income and your future. In this role you will respond to inbound calls from prospects, positively promote Farmers insurance products, consult to understand customer needs, and sell the products that best fit those needs. You may also make outbound calls to maximize sales potential.

Compensation

  • Guaranteed annual base pay of $43,056 - $67,500 based on experience
  • Uncapped performance­-based incentive—average earnings up to an additional $27,300 annually; top performers can earn up to $75,000 on top of base pay

Responsibilities
  • Sell insurance products to inbound callers by gathering data, generating quotes, and binding the business; occasionally make outbound calls
  • Provide exceptional customer service, build strong relationships, and educate customers on coverages and costs
  • Qualify customers for cross‑sell and upsell opportunities
  • Navigate multiple computer systems while interacting seamlessly with the customer
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales environment
  • Proven ability to meet quotas, metrics, and goals
  • Drive to work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment
  • Desire for a long‑term career within the insurance industry
  • Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and prioritize tasks
  • Direct sales skills and aptitude to influence customers and close sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to adapt style and explain complex policy information clearly
  • Eligible to obtain resident/non‑resident property and casualty license in all required states
Work Location & Schedule
  • Hybrid (at least three days in office, up to two days remote for those living within 50 miles of the corporate office)
  • Training: 8:30am‑5pm MT, Monday‑Friday 6am‑8pm MT; rotational Saturdays 7am‑3:30pm MT
  • Full‑time: 40 hours/week, five 8‑hour shifts per week; non‑traditional hours including evenings, Saturdays, and holidays
Education & Licensing
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty license
