Position Summary:

This role is focused on acquiring new clients while also managing existing accounts. The responsibilities are fulfilled through effective marketing and sales of the Company's staffing services, such as cold calling, attending networking events, and implementing business sales strategies.

Essential Functions:
  • Maintain an organized Sales Book and develop weekly routing schedules.
  • Send the weekly agenda to the Regional Business Development Manager via email.
  • Begin sales calls in the field at 7:30 A.M.
  • Conduct 25 phone calls, site visits, or mailings daily to both prospective and current clients.
  • Perform service visits to customer job locations.
  • Carry out site surveys at each job site as per company policy.
  • Complete necessary documentation for new or dormant accounts promptly.
  • Ensure that rate agreements are up-to-date and that any modifications receive the required approvals.
  • Responsible for uploading all necessary documentation to the customer files.
  • Document 125 notes weekly in the Sales Management Program.
  • Ensure notes in the system are detailed and clearly articulated to address job assignment requirements.
  • Promptly forward any COD account credit card information to the Accounting department.
  • Assist in collecting overdue accounts when they become 60 or more days past due.
  • Maintain effective communication with operations to address any issues at job sites.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings or conference calls.
  • Engage in association meetings, luncheons, golf tournaments, sales blitzes, trade shows, and after-hours networking events.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required by the Regional Sales or Area Manager.
Requirements:

Education/

Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED; a college degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of general work experience.
  • At least one year of professional experience in sales and customer service.
  • Availability to work weekends as needed.
  • A clean background and drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record.
  • Willingness to travel locally up to 80%.
