Position SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of food service sales experience
, preferably at the national level. Culinary experience is a plus, but outside sales account management is a must-have for this opportunity. This position reports to the market EVP and requires prior experience in outside sales, account management, relationship management, direct/indirect sales, business development, or B2B. The individual will develop and execute a customized business selling strategy for assigned multi‑unit chain restaurant accounts.
A consultative selling approach, trust building, and independence are critical.
- Establish relationships and demonstrate a consultative selling approach with key stakeholders in On‑Site Food service sectors (Healthcare, Business & Industry, College & Universities).
- Prospect and hunt for new business within the Phoenix and surrounding territory.
- Support accounts with Marketing and Business Intelligence resources.
- Influence decision‑makers without authority and develop trust in the On‑Site Food service sectors.
- Maintain a strong understanding of key differentiators and the competitive landscape.
- Develop creative solutions for restaurant chefs/culinary professionals and on‑site restaurant operators.
- Work closely with local market leadership and cross‑functional sales support teams to execute an ambitious market penetration strategy.
- Update all actions within our CRM to track what works and what does not.
- Manage pipeline and sales activity with accurate forecasting.
- Prepare or learn to cook food products and design menu combinations to support the selling cycle.
- Minimum 1 year food service experience.
- More than 1 year supporting National Accounts.
- Extensive On‑Site Food service (Non‑Commercial) account experience.
- Sales/Business Development experience calling on key accounts, market prospecting, and sales pipeline management.
- Discipline:

Ability to partner with diverse teams and learn from others. - Driver’s License:
Requires daily travel by personal vehicle; must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Typical work week:
Monday‑Friday. - During food trade show season, ability to stand extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
