The Arbor Specialist is responsible for driving new sales for Arbor’s existing commercial landscaping accounts. In this role, you will consistently follow Encore’s Arbor Project Process, perform site assessments, create proposals, and consult with Client Success Specialists and clients on their needs. The Arbor Specialist also works closely with Maintenance Operations Managers and the operations teams to ensure projects are executed properly, on budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Conduct site assessments and tree inventories to identify opportunities for enhancing existing client tree aesthetics and health through pruning, plant health care, and strategic tree removals and plantings.
- Perform initial site assessments for new properties and contribute to property start‑up packages and budgets.
- Consistently follow Encore’s Arbor Project Process for all projects.
- Create comprehensive proposals for new projects, including scoping, pricing, and illustrations consistent with departmental requirements.
- Submit proposals aligned with established client budgets.
- Develop client budgets for department‑related work, projecting work timelines, requirements, and revenue.
- Perform prompt and proper follow‑up on proposed work and outstanding items, working closely with Maintenance Operations Managers and Client Success Specialists to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
- Serve as an arbor consultant to determine clients’ needs and provide recommendations, working in unison with Client Success Specialists.
- Master excellent communication with the entire team, from maintenance operations to client success.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual department revenue targets.
- Participate in weekly department meetings to review progress.
- Utilize company CRM, systems, and tools effectively and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Background in arboriculture or tree care.
- Excellence in written and verbal communication.
- Goal‑oriented mindset with proven ability to meet targets.
- Experience in relationship building and negotiations.
- Ability to translate client needs into actionable proposals.
- Comfortable with technology and CRM systems.
