Sales Account Executive – Eurofins Built Environment Testing

Listen to your client’s needs while driving new and existing business for Eurofins Built Environment Testing Division in Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. Travel 2 weeks per month to Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas, NV.

Job Overview

The Sales Account Executive is a client‑facing outside sales role operating within an assigned region. The position involves identifying and managing client accounts, developing new business opportunities, and cultivating relationships. The role requires a strong understanding of environmental testing (asbestos, lead, mold, VOCs, aerosols, and other air‑quality services). It demands initiative, cold‑calling, and a proactive approach to expanding market share.

Responsibilities
  • Maximize market share, profitability, competitive advantage, and capacity utilization in the environmental analytical services market.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with current and prospective Eurofins clients.
  • Represent Eurofins by communicating services to new customers and markets, securing new accounts, and sustaining growth.
  • Identify opportunities and profitable work by following up on leads, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Act as a customer advocate by communicating client needs to internal teams (management, operations, technical staff, quoters, project managers).
  • Meet individual revenue goals and support assigned regional revenue objectives.
  • Develop sales plans and forecasts for the region.
  • Manage credit status for new and existing customers before submitting bids or proposals.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, resolve collection issues, and maintain accurate customer databases.
  • Develop pricing strategies, bid/no‑bid decisions, and master service agreements (MSAs).
  • Prepare client profiles, assess funding potential, generate leads, and track progress through the sales cycle.
  • Report sales activity, provide market insights, and collaborate on product and service development.
  • Control selling‑function expenses per corporate policy.
  • Travel throughout the region (some overnight stays) and serve as a “sponsor” for national accounts as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2–3 years of progressively successful outside sales experience in a service industry.
  • Preferred 5+ years of TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) experience.
  • Solid knowledge of environmental testing (asbestos, lead, mold, indoor air quality). A background in labs or environmental industry is advantageous.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
  • Must reside in the Phoenix, AZ or Las Vegas, NV metropolitan area.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely.
  • Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Self‑directed, adaptable to unstructured environments, and able to use computer and CRM tools effectively.
Additional Information

Compensation: up to $70,000 base salary plus a generous commission plan. Up to $5,000 sign‑on bonus available for highly qualified candidates. Position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday.

Benefits
  • Excellent full‑time benefits including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Life and disability insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid vacation and holidays.
