This position is based at our corporate office in Phoenix, AZ, and follows a hybrid work schedule. Remote work is not available for this role. Candidates must reside within commuting distance, as relocation assistance is not provided. Additionally, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa support.
Job Overview:
The Inventory Management Store Support plays a key role in maintaining accurate and efficient inventory operations across retail locations. This position ensures optimal stock levels, supports replenishment efforts, and helps prevent stockouts and excess inventory. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and collaborates effectively with internal teams and store associates to keep inventory processes running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing inventory levels for retail stores, ensuring stock availability aligns with customer demand and sales forecasts.
* Support inventory replenishment processes, working with store teams to ensure the timely ordering and restocking of products.
* Monitor stock movement and product turnover rates at retail locations to identify trends and provide recommendations for inventory adjustments.
* Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in inventory audits, reconciling any discrepancies between physical stock and system data.
* Support the store teams with inventory management tasks such as receiving, stocking, and organizing products in line with company policies.
* Assist in tracking and managing returns, transfers, and adjustments to ensure accurate inventory records.
* Provide inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics such as stock availability, discrepancies, and potential areas of improvement.
* Work closely with the logistics and supply chain teams to coordinate timely shipments and deliveries of inventory to stores.
* Maintain a high level of accuracy in all inventory-related tasks, ensuring the proper tracking and handling of goods.
* Assist store personnel in resolving any inventory-related issues, such as stockouts or inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (required);
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred).
* 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, retail operations, or supply chain support (preferred).
* Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory data and transactions.
* Basic understanding of inventory control principles, product handling, and replenishment strategies.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with store personnel.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining organizational and time-management skills.
