Job Overview Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a Checker. Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the Checker is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service per company standards, processing sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently, performing cash register operations and safeguarding company assets. Must be able to bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods of time.

Required Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information one‑on‑one and in small groups to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but unobtrusive written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently 45 pounds; occasionally 60 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate
