- Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs.
- Give guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology.
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues.
- Promote the company’s products and services.
- Assist management with supervising associates, assigning duties, communicating goals, giving feedback, and training on processes and procedures.
- Support the Open Door Policy and participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating associates.
- Receive, stock, and maintain supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organize and maintain the sales floor.
- Conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift and hazardous material procedures, and report unsafe situations.
- Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation, handle claims and returns, zone the area, and organize displays.
- Sign, price, and secure merchandise; identify shrink, damage, and fragile items.
- Monitor food and merchandise quality, enforce rotation, code dating, recalls, and sanitation standards.
- Oversee picking and staging of club pick‑up orders, ensuring products are selected and staged correctly.
- Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs in collaboration with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners.
- Demonstrate and support compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity.
- Lead and participate in teams, sharing resources, information, and tools to adapt to change or new challenges.
- Respect the individual by embracing differences and fostering a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
- Build strong, trusting relationships, communicate with impact and positivity, and motivate and influence others.
