Position Overview

Cashier – Oasis Waterpark at Marc & Rose

We are seeking a cashier who will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining inventory and processing sales. The role includes handling cash, making change, balancing the house bank, posting charges to guest rooms and house accounts using Micros, and restocking products to keep the work area organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist guests with their food ordering needs in a courteous and inviting manner.
• Help achieve sales goals by providing excellent service.
• Handle cash, make change, and balance the house bank.
• Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts using Micros.
• Stock products in a manner that helps maintain an organized work area.
• Restock and clean stations as needed to maintain standards.
• Communicate with management regarding stock levels and needs.
• Assist in expediting orders to runners and the service window.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the managers of the Oasis or the General Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Retail experience required.
• Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card and Arizona Title IV Alcohol Certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to stand for long periods and assist guests.
• Ability to count money and give appropriate change.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to memorize and perform Resort Service Standards and Mystery Shopper standards.
