General

Summary:

A Store Display Associate will assist individually and or in a team concept with all operations tasks as delegated by the Store Display Lead to open new stores, renovate existing stores, complete special projects, and assist the store operators when not in projects.

• Participate in multiple renovation, new store, relocation, expansion, and other types of projects, ensuring activities are completed to company standards in a timely manner.
• Merchandising and product placement.
• Unload merchandise from delivery trucks, organize merchandise, and transfer merchandise from stockroom to store; build and tear down fixtures.
• Set schematics, zone arrangements, and other merchandise templates.
• Clean and maintain site condition.
• Assist with day-to-day store activities related to the project as directed by the Store Display Coordinator/Lead.
• Ensure timely completion of all required project tasks in accordance with company standards.
• Communicate with the Store Display Coordinator/Lead and team members as needed to ensure success of daily on-site operations.
• Meet and exceed project standards by partnering with store operations and Store Development Management.
• Partner with and support other SDAs and Store Display Coordinator and Leads as business needs dictate.
• Maintain a safe working environment at job sites.
• Implement new procedures, best practices, tools, and efficiencies for all projects.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must travel up to 100% of the time to specific project locations (overnight travel required).
• Work projects typically run on 14 consecutive day schedules; associates should expect to work up to 14 consecutive days per project unless state‑specific rest periods apply.
• Must be able to travel by driving and flying.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Must be able to work non‑traditional hours.

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to climb, walk and stand for extended periods of time.

• Strong project management skills – ability to work on multiple complex projects, balance priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of sequencing and merchandising preferences.

• Ability to interpret instructions given in written, oral, diagram or schedule format.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships across all levels.
• Ability to manage personal and company expenses due to travel.

• Must be able to operate small power tools and equipment.

• Education:
  
  Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  1‑3 years of related retail work experience, preferably in retail store management.
• Technical:
  Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and ability to learn new applications.
