Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full time COOK position at Charlie's Cafe, located at 3845 North 91st Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85037. Online applications accepted only. Schedule is full time:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour to $21.00 per hour.

• Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning, ensuring proper temperature, and presenting food attractively.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and proper storage of food and supplies; follow safe food-handling procedures.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required; assist in ordering and receiving of food and supplies.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed; report maintenance or safety issues immediately.
• Follow HACCP standards and ensure proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers; perform duties safely and keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, glove use, and proper footwear.

• Previous short order cooking and line cooking experience is preferred.
• Ability to comply with established policies and procedures and to work a fast-paced kitchen environment.
