We are seeking an Assistant Quality Manager to support quality operations in a manufacturing environment focused on energy storage systems (ESS) and battery technology. This role will help ensure product quality through inspections, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections
- Develop and maintain SOPs, control plans, and inspection standards
- Conduct electrical and mechanical testing of ESS packs and components
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools such as 8D, FMEA, and 5 Whys
- Support customer quality issues, audits, and RMA processes
- Maintain compliance with ISO-based quality systems
- Assist with supplier quality monitoring and corrective actions
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 2–5 years of quality experience in manufacturing, battery, or ESS environments
- Familiarity with quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience with battery packs/BMS and ISO or Six Sigma certification.
