Job Summary

Our Client is seeking a District Quality Control Manager to lead quality strategy and field execution across multiple construction projects. This role ensures project quality plans, inspection processes, and contract compliance are consistently implemented, with strong emphasis on concrete and process mechanical/piping scopes.

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Tempe area)

Position Impact

This position protects project integrity and district performance by embedding quality standards into planning, execution, and field operations—reducing risk, strengthening compliance, and driving long-term operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing Project Quality Plans aligned with contract specifications
  • Overseeing QA/QC inspections, ITP compliance, audits, and documentation
  • Reviewing prime contracts and subcontracts to ensure quality requirements are executed
  • Identifying quality risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Ensuring suppliers and trade partners meet project specifications
  • Mentoring QA/QC team members and influencing project sequencing
  • Serving as district-level liaison with clients, third-party agencies, and contractors
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Tradesperson certification or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
  • 8+ years of quality control and/or construction experience
  • Significant experience in concrete and process mechanical/piping scopes
  • Advanced understanding of construction specifications, drawings, methods, and codes
  • Experience developing site quality plans and leading internal quality assessments
  • Strong ability to interpret plans and visualize two-dimensional drawings in three dimensions
  • Proven ability to identify and mitigate quality risks
