QA Specialist / Manager
We are looking for a QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN to join our Phoenix, AZ plant. As a Quality Control Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will be responsible for ensuring quality control of batching, mixing, and delivering high-quality ready-mixed concrete that meets project specifications and customer expectations. This role requires travel to monitor quality standards and perform testing.

- Perform QC tests (air content, slump/workability, coarseness/sandiness, yield, set time, water-cement ratio, strength).
- Calibrate production and testing equipment.
- Sample and test raw materials for specification compliance.
- Record and communicate test results to dispatch, batch personnel, and customers.
- Troubleshoot fresh and hardened concrete to identify quality issues.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 1-year of QC experience within a construction, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
- Good organizational and math skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
