• Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
• Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
• Complete 100% inspection of lots as needed.
• Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
• Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.
• Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
• Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
• Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
• Resolve quality‑related issues in a timely manner.

• Ability to read blueprints and specifications on a daily basis.
• Be able to give accurate information on hardware inspected.
• Capable of maintaining the flow of product for production in a timely manner.
• Must be able to pass a near‑vision and color eye exam.
• Proficiency with hand tools: micrometers, calipers, height gauges, gage pins and thread gauges.
• Interpretation of CMM reports.
• Competence with comparator inspection tools.

• Previous experience of aerospace inspection, performing receiving inspections and final safeguard.
• Certification in quality control is preferred.
• A minimum of one year experience in a similar role.
• Good math and technical skills.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques such as dimensional and visual inspections.
