Experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Inspector to join our team for the 1st shift. This role involves ensuring the highest quality standards in our products through meticulous inspection processes.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gages, bore gages, comparators, and surface layouts.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications with a basic understanding of GD&T.
- Program and operate CMM to conduct inspections.
- Utilize Net Inspect and Discus for first article documentation.
- Adhere to industry standards including AS9100, AS9102 (FAI), PPAP, and PFMEA.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the Jobboss MRP system.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality control measures are met.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or medical device industries.
- Proficiency in using standard inspection equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications with GD&T.
- Experience in programming and running CMM.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with AS9102 (FAI) and Discus is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with AS9100, AS9102 (FAI), PPAP, PFMEA, and other aerospace standards.
- Experience with Net Inspect and Discus for first article documentation.
- Experience with Jobboss MRP system is preferred.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in an enclosed inspection area where all necessary tools and equipment are provided. The work environment is designed to facilitate quality inspections and promote employee comfort and efficiency.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
