QC Engineer – Field & Office; Construction

$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr

• 50% field construction observation and troubleshooting on active job sites.
• 50% trailer/office quality control documentation, including welding QC logs, RFIs, and technical issue tracking.
• Coordinate and follow up on quality and technical issues with site team, vendors, and engineers until issues are fully resolved.
• Perform basic construction quality checks and verify work against drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate QC records, logs, and reports in Excel/Word, and prepare simple PowerPoint summaries as needed.

• Basic construction knowledge (field environment, drawings, common trades).
• Basic computer skills:
  Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Physical ability to walk the site, climb stairs, and access work areas as needed.
• Related engineering diploma/degree (civil, mechanical, industrial, or similar) preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese preferred; ability to communicate effectively in both languages is a plus.
