About the Role

As a Field Supervisor, Arbor (Tree Care), you will be at the forefront of our tree care operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional arboricultural services. You ll be responsible for scheduling, training, and supervising our arbor team to deliver cost-effective tree services to our commercial clients. Collaborating with internal teams, you ll ensure our tree care division maintains the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Understand client needs through effective communication with the account management team
  • Read, write, and comprehend work orders, training manuals, and any form of literature pertaining to the position, company, and industry
  • Ensure job site safety and work quality meet Encore standards
  • Help manage all tree services, including the coordination of materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality work
  • Inspect properties prior to scheduled service to properly prepare specific action plans, adjust schedules as needed, and follow up
  • Ensure work is executed with proper arboricultural techniques and equipment
  • Perform hands-on work with crews as needed to meet work specifications and scheduling demands
  • Implement and enforce Encore policies related to proper upkeep, maintenance, storage, use, and training required for tools and equipment
  • Assist in hiring new crew members as needed
  • Ensure crews follow proper safety protocols at all times
  • Be available for emergency work and manage crews as needed even after normal business hours
  • Maintain and manage all required administrative systems, including time recording, service schedules, and executed vs. budgeted performance
  • Coordinate with account management teams to ensure tree job databases are consistently updated with current information
  • Order materials as needed while monitoring costs and deliveries
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures consistently, ensuring proper use of tools, equipment and PPE at all times
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of arboriculture | tree care supervision experience
  • Strong knowledge of tree species, pruning techniques, and plant health care
  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience coordinating crews and managing multiple job sites simultaneously
  • Proficiency with industry software and willingness to learn new systems
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver s license with a clean record
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
Physical Requirements
  • Position requires heavy lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs., manual dexterity, and operating equipment
  • Working conditions include outdoor environments with variable lighting, weather conditions, noise levels, and potential exposure to hazardous materials
  • Must maintain full awareness when operating or supervising the use of machinery and equipment
