Wanted

an experienced Landscape Maintenance Supervisor for an established landscape design, construction, and maintenance company with insurance and PTO benefits.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have prior landscape maintenance supervisor experience of 3-5 years.
  • Be professional, and have a positive "+Can-Do" attitude.
  • Be a self-starter, desire to be at their best every day, and want to be a part of a growing organization.
  • We are looking for someone who can think on their feet, multi-task, and is self-motivated.
  • Must be able to organize and lead a general maintenance landscape foreman and crew to complete daily maintenance as assigned.
  • Must have a wide range of skills, and knowledge in planting, irrigation installation and repair, program and check water schedules at every property, controller settings, landscape installation, and small equipment among other skills.
  • This is a physically demanding role requiring 55-60 hours per week and working alongside the crew.
  • Must be Bilingual and have a valid Arizona driver’s license, with a good MVR.
  • Must be able to E-verify and drug test.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and monitor job site punch lists for needs and completion.
  • Schedule delivery of materials and equipment
  • Monitor crew’s production rates, quality, and safety.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to the foremen and crews by aligning the crews daily with work, proper tools, and materials for the day’s jobs.
Skills:
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and leadership/supervisory skills; ability to focus/ align crew to complete projects on time.
  • Creative, proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized, Dependable, People-oriented, Adaptable/flexible, Detail-oriented, pleasant, professional, and well-spoken with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to fill out daily site sheets clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently in an environment that encompasses multi-tasking, time constraints/deadlines.
  • Knowledge of plants and horticulture. Standard and proper planting techniques
  • Ability to program and check water schedules for irrigation on all properties.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships and effectively communicate with clients and field personnel by conducting weekly property walks to provide updates on project progress.
  • Proficient in the techniques used to cut turf using various-sized power mowers,
  • Proficient in the techniques used to prune shrubs and low trees to improve the shape or growth habit or to remove damaged branches.
  • Proficient in the techniques used to plant and maintain flower beds.
  • Proficient in the operation of edgers, line trimmers, and blowers to ensure the crew understands correct operation.
  • Must be proficient in AZ overseed practices.
  • Self-starter, punctual, and dependable
  • Strong customer, quality, and results-oriented.
  • Proficient in knowledge of maintaining and upkeep of company equipment.
  • Experience driving trucks and trailers and operating all landscape equipment.
  • Work outside in AZ conditions.
