VetMED is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained veterinary criticalist to join our Specialty and Emergency Veterinary Hospital. A leader in compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine since 2010, VetMED fosters collaboration and innovation on our unique medical campus in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. This is a great opportunity for a motivated candidate to join an established specialty and emergency hospital.

Your Critical Care service would be supported by Surgery, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Radiology, and a strong 24/7 Emergency team led by a residency trained Criticalist. With a spacious and dedicated clinical area and skilled technicians, you would be joining a strong team focused on providing the very best care for our most critical patients. VetMED offers a positive work environment and flexible scheduling in the beautiful Valley of the Sun and is the perfect hospital to build a long-term and sustainable practice.

Join and lead the Critical Care service in collaboration with specialty and emergency teams. Provide high-level critical care for complex cases, participate in 24/7 emergency coverage, and support a multidisciplinary approach with Surgery, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, and Radiology. Contribute to a positive work environment, staff education, and continual improvement of patient care on a dedicated critical care ward.

Board-certified or residency-trained veterinary criticalist. Strong collaboration with other specialists and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

• Dedicated critical care patient ward
• On-site CT and MRI
• ER equipped with portable ultrasounds, an extensive in-house lab, blood products, digital cytology, telemetry, high-flow oxygen therapy, two radiology suites, and a dedicated procedure room
• Supportive team of doctors, technicians, client service reps and hospital leadership

VetMED is located on the north edge of Phoenix, roughly 25 minutes north of Downtown and approximately 15 minutes west of Scottsdale, AZ.
