We’re looking for a PMHNP based in Arizona to join our clinical team in a hybrid role—primarily telehealth with local (in-town) travel to support partner treatment centers and clinical operations.
About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to support patients at a detox and behavioral health treatment facility located in the West Valley of Phoenix. This role combines on-site patient care, telehealth coverage, and on-call responsibilities to ensure consistent psychiatric support for individuals undergoing detox and stabilization.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a substance use disorder and mental health treatment environment, collaborating with clinical staff, and providing medication management and psychiatric evaluations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients entering detox and stabilization programs
- Provide medication management, including MAT protocols when appropriate
- Develop and oversee treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical and medical team
- Perform follow-up visits and medication adjustments
- Participate in telehealth coverage for remote consultations
- Provide on-call psychiatric support as scheduled
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and medical providers to support patient recovery
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Active Arizona NP license and prescriptive authority
- DEA registration required
- Experience in addiction medicine, detox, or behavioral health preferred
Ability to work both in-person and via telehealth - Strong clinical judgment and team collaboration skills
- Combination of in-person coverage, telehealth availability, and on-call rotation
- Full-time and part-time candidates considered
