Job Summary and Responsibilities
Responsible for performing patient evaluations, reviewing pretreatment teaching, recommending therapeutic intervention, counseling patients and families, and collaborating with physicians to provide direct care interventions within the scope of practice for Nurse Practitioner in collaboration with the Program Director. Primary point of contact and responsible for managing patient care.
Education Benefit program available after 180 days of employment for eligible employees, including up to $50,000 for Advanced Practice Providers and Faculty Physicians hired within a year of completing residency.
Job Requirements- 3 years clinical experience in related area or specialty field.
- Compact state or Arizona RN license (RN).
- Arizona Advance Practice Nurse license (LIC APN).
- National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: CT NP-AACN, CT NP-AANP, CT NP-ANCC, or CT NP-PNCB.
- DEA registration.
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR-BLS).
