NICU Nurse – Make a Life-Changing Impact!

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Executive DON, Ambulatory, you’ll collaborate with physicians and specialists to deliver critical, age-specific nursing care in a dynamic, team-driven environment.
What You’ll Do:- Assess, monitor, and implement personalized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision.
- Educate and advocate for patients and families.
- Ensure seamless collaboration with the care team.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives in neonatal care.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34.15 - $50.37
This is a PM role with an 18% weeknight shift differential and a 26% weekend shift differential
QualificationsEducation:
- Prefer a bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing.
- Must successfully complete the Valley wise Health New Graduate RN training program or have prior acute nursing experience demonstrating an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Previous acute care hospital experience in the area he or she is applying for is preferred.
- Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license, a temporary AZ RN license, or avalid compact RN licensure for the current state of practice.
- Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.
- Requires a BLS card obtained through an American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
- In addition, certification or continuing education may be required based on the area of practice:
- Must have NRP upon hire or within three (3) months of hire or transfer for new grads/new to service.
- Ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must.
- Bilingual is preferred.
- Must have excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.
- Requires basic computer word processing skills (e.g., formatting, editing, printing, composing email, internet searches, etc.) to navigate through an electronic medical record using a computer successfully.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
