As a General PCU Registered Nurse, you will care for patients recovering from surgery, stable cardiac conditions, respiratory illnesses requiring non-invasive ventilation, or those transitioning from the ICU who still need significant medical oversight. These patients often require specialized nursing care, advanced monitoring, and sometimes medication regimens to ensure a smooth recovery and prevent complications. Ratios on this unit are 1:4.

This opening is for a FULL-TIME Day Shift opening and will require 3 shifts per week from 7am-7:30pm, with weekends and holidays included on a rotating basis. You will also have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
