Role OverviewThe Behavioral Health Nurse Manager is responsible for the oversight and direction of all nursing and patient care services within the facility. This position provides leadership across units while supporting daily operations, long-term planning, and high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and operational leadership for nursing and patient care services
- Direct, support, and develop nursing staff
- Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams
- Oversee daily operations and contribute to long-term planning
- Ensure compliance with medical protocols, policies, and procedures
- Review significant events, patient care concerns and grievances, medication usage, and laboratory orders
- Recommend training initiatives, policy updates, and process improvements
- Partner with senior nursing leadership on quality and performance initiatives
- Provide physical and psychological support to patients and families
- Associate Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred - Minimum two years of Registered Nurse experience with exposure to behavioral health and/or medical crisis environments
- At least one year in a charge nurse, lead, supervisory, or management role preferred
- Behavioral health and/or withdrawal management experience strongly preferred
- Active, unencumbered Arizona RN license in good standing
- Valid government-issued identification required
