Summary Serve with purpose at the Indian Health Service as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. In this exciting role, you'll design and deliver anesthetic care from pre-op assessment through recovery, make high-impact clinical decisions, and provide essential care to patients who truly need it—all while advancing your career in a meaningful, mission-focused setting.

• Provide and establish treatment plans and services for patients undergoing a variety of surgical operations by administering proper anesthesia techniques like general anesthesia or sedation
• Assist in emergency cases by applying resuscitation techniques to patient
• Review patient’s clinical charts, review and maintain medical records to determine type of anesthesia for administering
• Interpret and utilize patient surgery data to determine need for supportive therapy
• Manage post-anesthesia care of patients by determining absence or presence of complications and assuring continuity of care

Background Investigation Requirement: This position requires the successful completion of a federal background investigation as a condition of employment.

• A background investigation is a standard process used by the Federal Government to verify an individual’s identity, employment history, education, and other relevant information to determine suitability for Federal service.
