The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct medical care to incarcerated youth, including health evaluations, medication administration, intake screenings, emergency care, and coordination of treatment plans. The role requires strong clinical judgment, compliance with nursing regulations, and collaboration with healthcare and facility staff.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and respond to youth health concerns
- Conduct intake health screenings for newly admitted youth
- Monitor, document, and report changes in vitals and health conditions
- Administer medications and observe for adverse reactions
- Collect and process blood, urine, and other specimens
- Provide emergency medical care to youth and staff as needed
- Coordinate treatment plans with healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate medical records and files
- Administer vaccinations and assist with TB skin testing
- Ensure medical supplies and equipment are stocked
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- 1+ year of Registered Nurse experience
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing
- Ability to work on-site and attend in-person interviews
- Ability to start within 2 weeks of offer
- Corrections or Detention Facility Experience

- CPR/BLS Certification
- Active RN License (Arizona)
- TB Skin Test
- Hepatitis B vaccination record or signed declination
- Confirmation of meeting work location requirement
- Security Clearance Required
- No Travel Required
- Candidates must be local at time of submission
