. We are offering a $10K sign‑on bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. As a Telemetry Nurse at SJHMC, you'll play a crucial role in our patient care team, caring for patients admitted to our unit and many of whom are funneled in from other units. This 30‑bed medical telemetry unit treats a wide range of conditions including liver disease, kidney disease, diabetes, and cardiac issues.
You will learn something new every day and have opportunities to participate in committees and support the unit. Your success is driven by your passion to help others, a patient‑first mindset, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency.
- Track routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse ox levels
- Quickly report and address any changes in condition
- Patiently and thoroughly explain test results and procedures to patients and family members
- Educate patients on post‑hospital care, including prescribed medicine, care maintenance, and prevention
Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit‑eligible employees after 180 days. The program provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your goals. Full‑time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part‑time employees can receive up to $9,000.
Job Requirements- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; AZ RN license
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- BSN
- Professional certification in area of specialty
- One year recent acute care experience
