Clinical Nurse

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Executive DON (Ambulatory), the Clinical Nurse delivers skilled, patient-centered, and age-appropriate nursing care in partnership with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team. This role is essential in providing safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care that supports each patient’s journey to better health.
As a valued member of the Valley wise Health team, you will:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, ensuring quality outcomes.
- Identify nursing needs and implement effective interventions using critical thinking and clinical expertise.
- Provide or delegate patient care in alignment with Valley wise Health standards and policies.
- Serve as a patient advocate and educator, helping patients and families make informed health decisions.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other disciplines to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
- Support team success by participating in team building, mentoring, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in all aspects of documentation and communication.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34.15 - $50.37
QualificationsEducation:
- Prefer a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing.
Experience:
- Must successfully complete the Valley wise Health New Graduate RN training program or have prior acute nursing experience demonstrating an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Previous acute care hospital experience in the area he or she is applying for is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
- Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license, temporary AZ RN license, or valid compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
- Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.
- A BLS card must be obtained through an American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
- Must have ACLS upon hire or transfer. Must obtain PALS within six (6) months. Must obtain ABLS within one (1) year.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must.
- Must have excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.
- Requires basic computer word processing skills (e.g., formatting, editing, printing, composing email, internet searches, etc.) to successfully navigate through an electronic medical record using a computer.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English. Bilingual is preferred.
