Job DescriptionCoordinates the daily functions and activities of an assigned clinical department. Responsible for overseeing unit operations, implementing changes and assisting with the management of productivity. Serves as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders such as hospitalists, cardiac/cardiovascular physicians, and hospital administration. Develops and implements plans and processes to ensure compliance with quality, safety and standards of care. Provides training, mentorship, and support to staff to promote professional growth and high‑quality patient care.

THE CLINICAL COORDINATOR CARDIAC CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
PREFERRED EDUCATION: BSN
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3‑year experience in Tele/PCU, 1 year charge nurse experience
REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona. BLS required at hire, ACLS required within 30‑days of hire.
