RN Refresher Preceptorship

Overview

RN Refresher Preceptorship opportunity at Banner Health. This Preceptorship provides RNs a collaborative learning environment to redevelop nursing skills, enhance knowledge, and complete clinical hours required for an RN Refresher Program. Precepted shifts are completed in a Banner Health unit with clinical support from unit staff and educators. Unit preferences will be considered to help achieve nursing career goals.

The successful candidate will:

• Complete precepted shifts in a Banner Health facility unit.
• Redevelop nursing skills and complete required clinical hours per the guidelines of the enrolled refresher program.
• Receive clinical support from unit staff and educators.

• Enrollment in a refresher program with the board of nursing
• Current BLS card through the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain before program starts
• BSN is preferred
• Ideal candidates will reside in a state with a Banner Health clinic, hospital, or facility

RNs who complete a Refresher Preceptorship with Banner Health may be considered for a potential transition into Banner Health as a full-time Registered Nurse in the same facility and unit after completing the required clinical hours for their Refresher Course.

This is a non-benefited, unpaid position.
