Overview

Aztec Healthcare is seeking qualified nurses for temporary or long‑term assignments at our skilled nursing home in Aztec, New Mexico. Positions are 12‑hour shifts, 13‑week duration with potential renewal. Start date is ASAP.

• Ensure delivery of high‑quality, positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shift.
• Serve as a resource to all staff within the facility regarding the quality of services provided.
• Provide direct resident care when required; administer medications and treatment timely and in accordance with facility policy.
• Effectively manage nursing personnel on shift to limit use of overtime and agency personnel.
• Assess the work performance of nursing staff as it relates to unit standards of care and goals.
• Conduct regular staff meetings on each shift and provide updates to the Director of Nursing.

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).
