Our program offers excellent on-the-job training, mentorship, and professional development to help you transition from a new graduate to a competent, professional nurse. Placement will be at Banner Health facilities, considering your unit preferences and career goals.

Program Highlights:

  • Clinical experiences with preceptors
  • Training at Banner Simulation Center
  • Skills assessment and verification
  • Orientation to Cerner electronic health record system
  • Hands-on patient care skills lab

Requirements:

  • Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • BSN preferred; ADN considered at some locations
  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain before start
  • No more than 12 months of RN experience

Position Summary: Provides nursing care, assesses patient needs, develops care plans, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Core Functions include: Patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, documentation, and participation in quality improvement activities.

Minimum Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, and relevant clinical experience within the past year.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and professional certification.
