Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring an AZ or compact RN license and advanced certifications.

• Position is in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 18:00 to 06:00
• Standard 36-hour work week
• Typical contract length ranges from 10 to 13 weeks
• Patient population includes cardiac and post-surgical critical care cases
• Care for critically ill cardiac and post-surgical patients in an advanced ICU environment
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• All certifications must be active at time of consideration
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in CVICU
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI
• Driver’s license, date of birth, and Social Security number are needed for consideration
• Cannot have been employed by Tenet Health within the last 12 months or currently be employed by Tenet Health
