Registered Nurse RN Surgical PCU – Banner Health

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Work Shift: Day and Night (rotating; 3 shifts per week, 7:00‑7:30 pm or 7:00‑7:30 am, weekends & holidays included).

Pay includes an 18 % night‑shift differential and a flat $3/hour weekend‑shift differential.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments – physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and cultural aspects.
• Formulate and revise individualized plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Implement care plan, delegate and supervise nursing activities, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
• Evaluate patient progress, revise goals, and document outcomes in the patient record.
• Support professional development through precepting, mentoring and participation in the Nursing Clinical Ladder Program.
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff and external partners; provide spiritual support when appropriate.

• Current RN license in Arizona or temporary/interim RN license.
• BLS certification required; additional certification or continuing education may be required.
• Minimum 12 months acute/critical‑care experience (telemetry, ICU, home health, skilled nursing, medical/surgical, or similar) within the past 12 months.
• Experience in surgical PCU and/or critical care preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional certifications preferred.
