Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PICU position with NICU float responsibilities and a minimum of three years of pediatric critical care experience.
Responsibilities- Hospital-based position in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- Role includes floating to NICU and caring for acute pediatric patients as needed
- Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, 19:00-7:30
- Expected to work at least three weekend days per month
- No on-call requirements
- 8-week contract with potential for extension
- Will provide care for a variety of critical pediatric and neonatal patients
- No block scheduling available
- Local candidates are not eligible
- Active AZ or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PICU and NICU settings
- Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Experience in a Level I trauma setting required
- First-time travelers must have at least 5 years of experience to be considered
- Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
