# Qualifications
Education:
Prefer#a high school diploma or GED.
Experience:
Prefers at least one (1) year of relevant nursing assistant or healthcare-related experience. Specialized Training:
Must successfully complete approved#Valley wise Health#computer classes. Certification/Licensure:
Requires licensure through the AZ Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Requires BLS card#obtained through an approved#American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire. Knowledge, Skills, and#Abilities:
Bilingual is preferred. Must have the ability to work with culturally diverse people. Requires excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills. Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Director, and under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate, age-specific patient care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. This role supports safe, high-quality care by assisting with daily patient needs and promptly communicating changes in patient condition.

* Obtain and document vital signs and patient observations
* Perform assigned clinical procedures and patient-related tasks as directed

* Accurately document all care provided and patient interactions in the medical record
* Support a safe, respectful, and patient-centered care environment
