Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Phoenix AZ
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Nights
Pay: $2,180.16/week plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast‑paced emergency department team. This role involves providing immediate and critical care to patients experiencing urgent and life‑threatening conditions. The RN will perform rapid assessments, deliver emergency interventions, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and emergency interventions (e.g., CPR, intubation).
- Monitor vital signs and patient status, responding promptly to changes.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
- Licensure: Current RN license in [State].
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (preferred)
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of emergency or critical care experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of emergency protocols and trauma care.
- Ability to work effectively in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments.
- Strong clinical judgment and rapid decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
