Quail Run Behavioral Health Hospital Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and talented Registered Nurse to join our Intake team. The Intake and Assessment Nurse provides telephonic and in‑person risk assessment & crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.
The Intake and Assessment Nurse also assists the Physician by providing face‑to‑face clinical assessments, including the history of presenting illness, family dynamics and supporting psychosocial information. The role may be assigned a Team Lead role at the discretion of the Intake and Assessment Director.
This position also qualifies for our sign on bonus! $5,000 for qualified RN.

ScheduleThis is a full‑time position. Night Shift 6 p.m. – 6:30 a.m., Thursday – Saturday.

Quail Run Hospital is a 102‑bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. It features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Quail Run Behavioral Health.
Qualifications- Current license to practice nursing in Arizona or compact privileges (or eligible to receive or renew).
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card or the ability to obtain.
- Preferred: one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 12‑65+. For the geriatric unit, 1 year of med/surgery experience is strongly preferred.
