Volunteer Celebration

Read Better Be Better is an education nonprofit organization focused on solving Arizona's literacy crisis. We work with partnering schools throughout the state to connect young readers and youth leaders to inspire a love of literacy and learning. Since 2014, we have served thousands of Arizona students through our reading programs in over 70 schools across Maricopa County and multiple community-based organizations across throughout Arizona.

We continue to expand to serve even more kids, schools, and families. We are a mission-driven, collaborative community, and we welcome and are grateful to those seeking an opportunity to get involved.

Join us as we celebrate Read Better Be Better Day—officially proclaimed by the City of Phoenix on March 29th, 2025—with a special volunteer event at our office!

Arizona’s children are facing a real literacy crisis, and RBBB’s work to build reading skills, confidence, and leadership in students has never been more important. This event is your chance to be part of the solution in a hands‑on, joyful way.

On March 30th, come learn about our programs, meet fellow literacy champions, and help us create meaningful materials for the students we serve. Volunteers will

• 📚 Assemble Literacy Kits
• 🎁 Wrap prize books
• 💌 Write letters of encouragement to our readers and leaders

Your time and care will directly support K–8 students on their reading journeys—and every kit, book, and note you create will remind a child that their community believes in their brilliance and ability to lead and read.
