Mercury is looking for an experienced Principal Operations Program Manager to support a newly formed team responsible for defining and executing the manufacturing network strategy for the enterprise that allows for capacity improvements aligned to long term customer demand forecasts.
Job Responsibility:
* Accountable for successful execution of strategic manufacturing transition projects within allocated schedule & budget.
* Develop & execute against project IMS through collaboration with key stakeholders.
* Assess & integrate requirements for capital equipment, qualification processes, and training to ensure start-up success.
* Work closely with supply chain to ensure material plan is clear & achievable, and factory operations leadership to manage resource planning.
Required
Qualification:
* Experience communicating complex concepts or ideas in a clear and concise manner to various levels of internal & external stakeholders.
* Detail oriented approach to assessing program health, risks & opportunities.
* Experience managing a budget.
* Proficient in ERP/MRP systems.
* Background in at least one of the following: manufacturing, operations, supply chain, planning, program management, process engineering.
* Experience leading teams and succeeding in a matrixed environment.
* Willingness to travel >25%, with expectation for high level of travel up front.
Preferred
Qualification:
* Experience with DoD & Aerospace Industries.
* Working knowledge of Oracle, Factory Logix, Power
BI, Mendix & advanced excel tools.
* PMP Certification.
