Substrate Packaging Technology Development (SPTD) performs functions associated with all substrate production including operations equipment process and training and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Work at Shift 4

• Collect and evaluate operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
• Run lots in a qualitative manner.
• Be in charge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting spares and sustaining.
• Be responsible for improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line and reviewing technological health and stability.
• Manage the buddy trainer and certifier levels and update training manuals.
• Participate in safety forums and the Emergency Response Team as required.
• Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters.
• Normally receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new work.

Aside from the qualifications provided below, the ideal candidate shall possess the following behavioral traits:

• Adaptability and Judgment: Demonstrates the ability to navigate tasks of varying complexity, applying limited judgment to routine assignments while exercising broader judgment and innovative thinking for complex, nonstandard projects.
• Responsiveness to Guidance and Independence: Shows a balance between following general instructions for routine work and seeking detailed guidance for new tasks, while also working independently within broadly defined parameters to complete assignments effectively.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

• STEM Science or Technology or Engineering or Mathematics certification
• OR Associate's degree with 1+ year of experience
• OR Bachelor's degree in STEM
• OR 6+ years of related experience in manufacturing or military.

6+ months of prior experience in the following areas:

• Electronics equipment troubleshooting, installation repair and operation of semiconductor manufacturing technology. ERT training and certification
